Could DD3564 be a reference to our immune system's T-cells?   If you look at the pictures in this link http://www.cellsalive.com/ctl.htm , it shows how a T cell invades a virus-infected or malignant cell to destroy it, thus helping the person heal from disease.  To me it looks similar to your drawing.
